Flora and fauna is the study the plant and animal life of a region. Flora refers to the diverse plant species, ranging from towering trees and flowering plants to mosses and ferns. Fauna includes the animal kingdom, from mammals and birds to insects and aquatic life. These biological communities form intricate ecosystems, each species playing a role in maintaining ecological balance. Flora provides oxygen, food, and habitats, while fauna contributes to pollination, seed dispersal, and nutrient cycling. Together, they illustrate the richness and complexity of nature, supporting biodiversity and environmental health.
